I specialize in working with adult (25+) men, women and couples. I primarily serve two kinds of clients:
those who find themselves in a difficult season, relationship, job and/or transition,
and those seeking meaningful improvement in their quality of life.

___________________________

Two-thirds of my clients are men, and frequently they identify with the several of the following:
- who have never been to counseling, “had to go” to save a relationship, or previously found it to be ineffective
- need a counselor who's fluent in corporate-speak (I was previously a change leadership executive / consultant)
- 'Type A': leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, managers, business owners, and other therapists/counselors
- guys who are willing to commit to their overall health & well-being, and know counseling is an investment
- need a therapist flexible to work both face-to-face and/or via telehealth
- want/need an experienced male therapist (I'm 57 and have been a therapist for 12+ years)
- unfulfilled or dissatisfied with where they are in life, or who they believe who they've become
- frequently, my clients are 30 - 60 years old, and find themselves in a career transition or a 'midlife crisis'
- experience symptoms of burnout, loneliness, anxiety, anger, or have relied on unhealthy coping mechanisms
(workaholism, porn/infidelity, gaming/technology, etc.)
-
who have said to themselves they are “sick and tired” of feeling “sick and tired”, whatever cycle they're in
- an expressed interest or need for a voluntary counseling intensive (back-to-back sessions, half-day)

I practice relational, results-oriented integrative counseling/psychotherapy. This is a professional relationship - one that grows over time based on trust, vulnerability and truth. I believe that our work is co-created; how you and I relate in real-time informs our sessions. Our best work together invites honesty and courage in the areas of your deepest fears, struggles and heartaches. Often, your past and present relationships have and will continue to influence your ability to choose presence, hope and your ability to live fully.

Regular, consistent sessions produce opportunities for many things: recovery from trauma/abuse, emotional and relational growth, personal development and long-term integrative well-being. Having been a client myself, I understand firsthand the investments of time, energy and finances.

The decision to reflect upon your life through counseling rarely comes quickly or easily. Often, it remains a persistent whisper until it’s acknowledged as an invitation to revisit and reimagine your life’s stories. Your desire to know, share and rewrite some of your life’s key stories - through exploring your most significant relationships and experiences - are essential to a meaningful life.
